Landscapes of Mid-wales

We are very pleased to announce & to offer a short landscape photography workshop to run immediately before our July Skomer Puffins Photography Holiday. This is a new workshop in Mid-Wales, to photograph the Landscapes of Mid-Wales & it is to be lead by Sean Weekly.

Sean is an award winning wildlifelandscape, & wedding photographer. In the days immediately before the Skomer Puffins Photography Holiday, Sean will be running a two night prequel to capture the ‘Landscapes of Mid-Wales’, similar to the images you can seen within this blog post that were captured by Sean recently.

If one of the nights is clear, Sean has kindly offered to run a night-scapes workshop for a few hours as well. Obviously this is weather dependent but hopefully it is co-operative, & you’ll be able to capture images similar to the following.

This is an workshop not to miss, especially if you are already booked onto our Puffins of Skomer Island Photography Holiday. Many of the techniques that you learn on this workshop are directly applicable to the landscapes of Skomer Island, even more so if the clear skies happen & the astro photography is possible.

The workshop has places for 6 participants only. The workshop includes two nights accommodation on a dinner, bed & breakfast basis. Photography guidance will take place around the four main photography sessions, of which there will be two evening sessions, & two early morning sessions. Sean will be on hand throughout the day, but the bulk of the photography will be undertaken at the beginning & end of the days, when the light is best.

The dates for the ‘Landscapes of Mid-Wales’ are 12th – 14th July & the cost is £450 for the two days.

If you would like to join this workshop, please book using the booking form at the bottom of the main event page.
