White Horses of the Camargue Photography Holiday
Galloping en-masse towards you through deltas at sunset, droplets kicked up by dozens of hooves, suspended for a fraction of a second against a golden sky, the spectacle of the wild white horses of the Camargue is a stunning reminder of the raw beauty of Mother Nature & an unforgettable image waiting to be taken.
Join NaturesLens & Camargue Specialist Photographer, Serge Krouglikoff, to witness the raw power & natural elegance of the stallions & horses of the Camargue. Over the course of 5 days, we will have 7 photography sessions with these stunning horses & their Gardians, the men on horseback who watch over the wild horses who have inhabited the wetlands for generations.
You will photograph the iconic white horses, alone & in groups, as they posture, trot & gallop through the marshes, surf & lakes, their grace & elegance reflected back through the surface of the water.
With several drives per shoot, you will have ample opportunity to capture images from a range of perspectives, including horses running towards the lens & across your field of view.
2 separate sessions with a single stallion (one white & one black) on the beach take place in the afternoons, allowing for dramatic action shots as the beautiful animal gallops through the surf and along the shoreline.
Intertwined at full height, we also have one session with sparring stallions, showcasing their feisty, fiery temperament.
Our trip also encompasses a unique opportunity to add something rather special & unusual to your portfolio. An afternoon session of portrait photography of both the white stallion & a black stallion, against a clean, moody backdrop, using both lighting & natural daylight, making for dramatic close-up shots.
Accommodation is a 3-star hotel on a bed & breakfast basis. In trip transportation is also included in the cost. International flights, lunch, dinner, drinks & items of a personal nature are excluded.
