If you fancy improving your nature photography skills or the opportunity to capture some amazing images of foxes, wildcats, otters, pine marten, polecat, harvest mice & many more, then join us on our British Mammals Photography workshop.
To make the most of this weekend of photography, we are adding an afternoon Birds of Prey photo shoot. This will take place on the Saturday afternoon, with the mammal photography starting on the Sunday morning. There is such a wide range of species to photograph at the centre that the only way to do it justice is to spend two & a half days there.
Although we will return to some species on both days, the itinerary for each day of our British Mammals Photography workshop is different & will be suitably flexible to take into account weather conditions, availability of animals & group preferences.
With its series of purpose-built photographic & film sets with specially designed photographic access, we have unparalleled opportunities to capture some truly amazing images of our native British mammals. There will also be the opportunity to photograph water voles in their “film set” burrows as shown in the BBC Programme “The Burrowers”.
A large undercover area with plenty of natural light provides us with a superb environment to photograph Harvest Mice & Weasel (also handy if the weather decides to be unkind!). The larger enclosures provide a natural habitat for several species, some of which we can enter & smaller enclosures which have large drop-down panels for positioning our cameras.
