We have just posted the event page & details for our Dalmatian Pelicans photography holiday, Lake Kerkini, situated in northern Greece, not far from the border with Bulgaria, is the setting for our Dalmatian Pelican Photography Holiday – in winter, Lake Kerkini, is the most important place in Europe for the globally threatened Dalmatian Pelican, additionally the lake is a noted haunt of the rare Spotted Eagle.
As of posting this event, only two places remain available, there has already been good interest in this event & places have been reserved.
In January, Lake Kerkini is also home to large numbers of Pygmy Cormorants & thousands of wintering Greater Flamingos.
Our main photographic target is the Dalmatian Pelican, from mid-January until end of March they are at their most attractive with full breeding plumage on show & vocal displays to impress the females.[su_promotional_box promo_link_text=”Book Now” promo_link=”https://natureslens.co.uk/dalmatian-pelicans-of-lake-kerkini/” promo_content=”Reserve a place on the NaturesLens Dalmatian Pelicans of Lake Kerkini Photography Holiday, with a deposit of only £100, your balance will be due early-December 2014.”]
