One of the main reasons for staying on Skomer Island is the opportunity to shoot in golden light after the day trippers have left the island. But if the weather is kind, the opportunities carry on beyond the golden light period for another short session when even more creative Puffin images can be achieved.
Sean sent us in a few examples of some the creative puffin images that he has been able to achieve at the end of the day from his recent stay on the island.
Staying on Skomer Island for three nights means there will be plenty of opportunities to capture images like these with the help of Sean & Kevin.
WOULD YOU LIKE VISIT SKOMER FOR SOME PUFFIN PHOTOGRAPHY & STAY ON THE ISLAND?
Skomer is one of the most important locations for the colonies of Atlantic Puffins in Europe & it is easy to see why. For photographers keen to add puffin images captured in different conditions & lighting to their wildlife portfolio, a three night stay on the island provides an abundance of opportunities. Our focus during the NaturesLens photography holidays are the comical puffins, which can be seen on Skomer in abundant quantities from mid-May through to July.
Our second 2017 Skomer Puffins Photography Holiday, is proposed to be held in July, over the dates of July 15 – 18, 2017, some places still remain available on this trip, all bookings have to be confirmed by the end of September, but these trips normally sell out well in advance of the end of sale date.
