Steen enjoyed his first trip to the Pelicans of Lake Kerkini so much that he decided to join us again in 2018. Having attended the tour before, Steen had a list of images that he hoped to capture on his return trip.
It has to be said that the conditions in 2018 were terrific & the resultant images are some of the most stunning that I have seen come out of this trip.
How is this for a different bird in flight image?
Having an idea of the sort of images that he would like to achieve paid off for Steen. I think you will agree that he got some genuinely remarkable captures!
Just wow! Hope the camera didn’t get wet Steen!
The Pelicans of Lake Kerkini may be the target species of this trip, but there is plenty of other birdlife to be photographed.
The group were fortunate to get close enough to capture images of the flamingos.
This is Nete, Steen’s lovely wife. She had heard so much about the trip from her husband that she decided joined us too.

It’s always great to see clients repeating trips & experimenting to achieve different shots as Steen has done. Thanks so much for sharing these excellent images & we hope to see you & Nete again soon!
