In April, you can visit the estate for the Spring Birds of La Mancha photography holiday, during which you should have access to species such as Black Kite, Black-necked Grebe, Common Buzzard, Common Pochard, European Roller, Hoopoe, Little Egret, Marsh Harrier, Spotless Starling & Stone Curlew & more – of particular note, is that you should also have access, assuming the birds have arrived to bustard hides. If the water is warm enough then floating hide sessions will be available.
In May, you again visit the estate, but the species will have changed & for sure, the weather will be warm enough for the floating hides to be available, meaning that you will have access to species including many species on the waters of the lagoon, which you will photograph from the floating hides.
Whereas at the beginning of July, the species will have changed, the floating hides will be available, you will have access to species including Black Kite, Black-necked Grebe, European Roller, Great Crested Grebe, Hoopoe, Lesser Kestrel, Little Egret, Little Owl, Marsh Harrier, Red Kite, Stone Curlew & more including several of the larger raptors & eagles.
Any of these trips are available to book separately & are priced at £2599 for the La Mancha trip & £2699 for the Fabulous Birds of El Taray or the Birds of Toledo photography holidays, but if you fancy doing a deep dive into the birds of Spain & adding a plethora of species to your portfolio then you can book various combinations of these trips together & you will have a discount of at least 10% applied by us across the pair of booking forms when we send them to you!

Or if you book the Fabulous Birds of El Taray photography holiday, which we have in the calendar for 21st – 28th May 2023 & Birds of Toledo for the dates of 2nd – 9th July 2023 – instead of paying £5,398.00 – you will be charged £4,858.00 for the pair of trips – both bookings have to be made at the same time.
Finally, if you book Spring Birdlife of La Mancha for 8th – 15th April 2023 & Birds of Toledo for the dates of 2nd – 9th July 2023 – instead of paying £5,298.00 – you will be charged £4,768.00 for the pair of trips – both bookings have to be made at the same time.
All the above are savings of marginally over 10% on the normal trip price.
