The big difference on this new tour is the focus on capturing images of these magnificent birds in flight or at the nest. This tour is planned for April 2025, & that is why we have dedicated five days to photographing the Resplendent Quetzals.
The trip is not only about the Resplendent Quetzal; we include sessions – mainly based in Sarapiqui – which will enable you to capture images of some of the other genuinely iconic species of Costa Rica, including the Keel-billed Toucan, the Chestnut-throated Toucan, the Collared Aracari, various parrots & parakeets – & of course sessions to photograph the iconic frogs & snakes, including the glass frogs, pit vipers & the fabulous Red-eyed Tree Frogs.
