Join Alan on an exciting photography excursion suited to wildlife enthusiasts, photographing the diverse bird species that inhabit the plains of Calera. With a wide selection of comfortable hides throughout the area at our disposal, we will provide you with the best bird photography opportunities possible, capturing them in flight, within their habitats & interacting with one another.

Working from dawn ’til dusk watching this wonderful range of species in action, this is an experience you won’t want to miss!

Join NaturesLens to capture images of owls, kites & other birdlife, in Spain, during the Spanish Birds of Calera photography holiday. This photography holiday is of day duration on a Full Board, Non-Shared basis & costs £2249 per participant.

We have been capturing images in this region of Spain, using these hides for the past 6 years, & we can honestly say that the range of bird species which thrive in Calera is a sight to behold. From the Little Owl to Black & Griffon Vultures, their characteristics & common behaviours are diverse, but they all live side by side making up a large proportion of the delicate local ecosystem which exists in this region. Birds can provide some of the most exciting wildlife photography opportunities, as their quick, unpredictable behaviour keeps us on our toes & enables captivating movement & in-flight imagery to be captured.

Our day excursion to Calera offers opportunities to photograph a huge range of native species, including the Bee Eater, Little Owl, Great & Little Bustard, Black & Griffon Vultures, Lesser & Common Kestrel, Hoopoe, & the Black Winged Kite, as well as many others. We offer an all-inclusive accommodation & meal package to ensure that all you need to worry about is taking unique & mesmerising photographs.

Sunrise & sunset are often considered the prime times of day for creative photography, so unlike other holidays & tours, we ensure that our photography sessions make the most of these times of the day. This provides unrivalled exposure to the variety of species & the environment which inhabit this region.

NaturesLens provides 7 days of hide sessions, & on most days you will have the opportunity to use different hides in the morning & afternoon to photograph different species. This trip works on a rotation basis so that each member of the group gets the opportunity to take photographs from a variety of hides. The region is home to a wide range of Iberian Southern European specialities, & we will do our best to tailor your schedule if you make us aware of your target species, photography guidance is provided by Alan where needed.

The freedom we provide with the times of day for photography is important, as many of these bird species are very wary & cautious around humans, & it may, therefore, be necessary to arrive under the cover of darkness. It will also be advisable to approach slowly, & keep noise at a minimum whilst in the hides so as not to startle the birds, as well as to optimise your chances of photographing the birds whilst they are unaware of your presence.

The weather can vary between different times of day in this region at this time of year, so we advise that you bring layers & prepare for somewhat unpredictable weather conditions.

Join NaturesLens for a wildlife photography experience you will never forget.

Places are limited, so book today!

This is a trip you’ll never forget, & will have you leaving with both stunning images & memories which you will treasure for a lifetime.

Join NaturesLens to capture images of varied African wildlife, in South Africa, during the African Wildlife of Zimanga photography holiday. This photography holiday is of day duration on a Full Board, Shared basis & costs £3749 per participant.

NaturesLens invites amateur & semi-professional photographers on a wildlife adventure which will take you into the heart of African bushveld territory, photographing a wide range of native species including impressive predators; such as leopards, wild dogs & cheetahs, as well as magnificent elephants & over 400 bird species. The photography safaris & hide sessions all take place within a pristinely preserved wildlife reserve, which provides the animals with a protected habitat whilst allowing photographers to come & observe these animals thrive, & capture awe-inspiring images; photography guidance is provided by Pui Hang where needed.

This wildlife reserve offers 6000 hectares of unspoilt sub-tropical bushveld, fever tree forests & hilly terrain, providing you with opportunities to capture the best images of birds & wildlife alike from every possible angle. The reserve has a huge diversity of wildlife including mammals such as black-backed jackal, buffalo, cheetah, elephant, giraffe, hippo, impala, kudu, leopard, lion, nyala, rhino, spotted hyena, waterbuck, wild dog, wildebeest & zebra; & birds such as babbler, barbet, bee-eater, fire finch, fish eagle, hamerkop, kingfisher, lemon breasted canary, mousebird, plover, Rudd’s apalis, sandpiper, twinspot, vulture & waxbill. The animals live side by side in an almost self-contained ecosystem, with both predators & prey relying on this environment to survive. This is the first reserve of its kind; one which has been specifically designed for photographers, whilst allowing the animals to live as naturally as they would in the wild with some added protection.

Our trip offers you 5 traditional game viewing drives from open safari vehicles, with no more than 2 photographers per row to ensure maximum comfort & access to the best angles for photography. These are not limited to tracks, so off-roading will give you maximum photography opportunities. You will also have at your disposal a range of water-level hides, which are perfectly positioned to capture images of the animals at eye-level. These hides have been created with the photographer in mind, providing the optimum structure & positioning throughout the park.

2 birdbath hides in the heart of the reserve offer you the opportunity to photograph the wide variety of bird species which inhabit the region, including the pink-throated twinspot, kingfishers, barbets & mousebirds to name a few. But that’s not all. These hides may also give you the opportunity to photograph other visiting species, such as warthog, banded mongoose & monkeys.

A final pair of hides is provided for overnight use which you will use one of each on two nights, providing you with a completely different experience of the reserve, observing a variety of species as they carry out their night time activities. Join Alan on a new & inspiring photography tour suited to wildlife enthusiasts, photographing several of the species of eagles of Extremadura in Spain – specifically the Imperial Eagle, the Bonelli’s Eagle & the Booted Eagle. As with many of our photography holidays, we have planned this Eagles of Extremadura photography holiday for enthusiastic photographers who would like to focus on specific species but to have access to photograph some of the other birdlife found in Extremadura.

Our photography holiday has been timed to offer the best opportunities for being able to photograph these three magnificent eagles, plus a magnificent location which has a healthy population of Common Kestrel.

Join NaturesLens to capture images of the fabulous Eagles of Extremadura, in Spain, during the Raptors & Eagles of Extremadura photography holiday. This photography holiday is of day duration on a Full Board, Non-Shared basis & costs £1599 per participant.

For the duration of this trip, you are based in Herreruela, a small town located near Cáceres; this town is the capital of Cáceres province, in the autonomous community of Extremadura, it is here that you will spend night on a full-board basis.

The days will consist of early starts & late evenings to take advantage of the best light, & also so as not to scare the birds in any way. Three of the photography sessions are dedicated to photography of the Eagles from hides hidden in the landscape.

The first, the Booted Eagle is the smallest of the species of Eagle found in Spain, with a length of 42-53 cm & a wingspan of 110-135 cm.

The next eagle up in size is the Bonelli’s Eagle, which you will also have the opportunity to photograph from a brilliant hide set-up that has an expanse of Spanish plain behind it, no need to fill the frame with the bird for these images – although you will want to do that too – but do show off the landscape in which these birds live.

The third of the eagle species is the Spanish Imperial Eagle, this large eagle has a pale cream head & neck, but dark brown feathers elsewhere. There is a distinctive white area on the shoulders & a pale grey area on the upper tail, & the species can be recognised by its particularly smooth gliding flight. Unlike the Booted & Bonelli’s Eagles, the Spanish imperial eagle is classified as Vulnerable on the IUCN Red List.

The target species for this photography tour are the trio of the Eagles of Extremadura, the Imperial Eagle, the Bonelli’s Eagle & the Booted Eagle, but you will have opportunities to capture images of the Common Kestrels that are found in the area & also the nesting Bee-Eater.

Working from dawn ’til dusk, with Alan, achieving images of this wonderful range of species in action, this is an experience you won’t want to miss!

Photographable Species: bee-eater, bonellis eagle, booted eagle, common kestrel, imperial eagle

Please note that the Booted Eagle & Common Kestrel hides are new for the 2018 season – as such we hope that these will be available for the 2019 dates, should they not be, the area has plenty of other hides that we can make use of as a substitute.

Lake Kerkini, in northern Greece, is a location already familiar to both the guests & guides of NaturesLens. For the last 5 years, Lake Kerkini has been the venue for our incredibly popular Dalmatian Pelicans photography holidays. Our new 6-day long Spring Birds of Lake Kerkini photography holiday leverages all that we have learnt about the area but visits the location during late-Spring, when the bird-life is prolific & new-life is occurring both on the lake & in the surrounding environs. Our tour is based at the same hotel close to the lake that we make use of for the winter visits, so we already know that the food & accommodation will be great. Similar to our winter visits, the rare Dalmatian & the more common White Pelican are to be found on the lake, but for this tour, our focus shifts to the impressive selection of nesting waterbirds on the lake, & also those in the lake-side environment, including hoopoe, little owl, bee-eater & more.

The Spring Birds of Lake Kerkini photography holiday begins with the group assembling at Thessaloniki Airport. You will be collected by our hosts & transferred to our super lakeside hotel which has real character. Based just 500m from the lake, you will stay here for 5 nights. Our tour includes full-board accommodation & meals are served in the superb restaurant, with specialities including oven-baked buffalo garnished with noodles or buffalo meatballs!

Join NaturesLens to capture images of Spring Birds & other wildlife of Lake Kerkini, in Greece, during the Spring Birds of Lake Kerkini photography holiday. This photography holiday is of day duration on a Full Board, Non-Shared basis & costs £1499 per participant.

Over the next 4 days, you will be in a prime location with the best facilities to fully explore & capture images within this wetland paradise. Each morning, before sunrise, you will head out to the lake on a boat, during this time you will capture images of the multitude of waterbirds that make their homes within the waterside vegetation. In other areas of the lake, drowned trees reach skywards forming perches for cormorants & other bird-life that are happy to watch you as you drift by.

The bulk of afternoons will see the group split into pairs. We will have had hides set-up for a number of species, including, hopefully, bee-eaters, hoopoe & little owl, although this may change according to species availability. However, one afternoon will be spent on the boat until beyond sunset, hopefully capturing silhouette images of the birds against a suitably-coloured sky.

The Spring Birds of Lake Kerkini photography holiday suits keen photographers with a desire to experience the magnificent wildlife that this unique wetland has to offer; you will be able to capture editorial-quality images of a range of bird species that you will be proud to add to your portfolio. Places are highly limited to ensure the best experience for every guest, so book early to avoid disappointment.

This Eagles of Extremadura photography holiday is a unique opportunity to photograph some of the planets most impressive eagles & raptors, plus fascinating other species, including fox, mongoose, kingfisher, lesser kestrel & more.

Places are highly limited to ensure the best experience for every guest, so book early to avoid disappointment.

Join Ian & Robin on wild Skomer, photographing the ‘clowns of the sea’; puffins, as they thrive within their unspoilt island habitat. We offer amateur & semi-professional photographers the chance to stay overnight on the island, spending mornings, afternoons & evenings within the landscape, making the most of the scenic backdrop & varied light conditions that the island offers.

During this trip of 4 nights duration, you will be led by Ian & Robin, navigating the island & using prime viewpoints to capture stunning imagery to add to your portfolio.

Join NaturesLens to capture images of comical Atlantic puffin, in United Kingdom, during the Atlantic Puffins of Skomer photography holiday. This photography holiday is of day duration on a Half Board, Shared basis & costs £699 per participant.

For the past 6 years, NaturesLens has been taking photographers to Skomer Island; in 2019, join Ian & Robin on a remote wildlife adventure, getting up close to puffins on the unspoilt island of Skomer, where their population thrives. These special birds are considered by many to be a national treasure. Their behaviour & characteristics are hugely exciting to photograph, such as their short wings that they use to dip & dive underwater, ‘flying’ to catch fish. The large population of puffins has been able to flourish here thanks to minimal disruption of the island environment by humans, as well as the lack of threat from native predators.

We have refined this trip to give individuals the best possible exposure to these island birds, spending hours navigating the few paths which exist on Skomer to capture impressive images of the puffins surrounded by dramatic cliffs & crashing waves. Staying overnight gives you the opportunity to photograph these birds in a wide variety of lighting conditions, & your photography will also benefit from the calm that falls when the day-trippers leave the island. This unrivalled access to the island environment provides opportunities to experiment with light & be more creative with your photography, as well as witness late night visits from Manx Shearwaters.

The island environment & surrounding coastline are home to a wide range of species other than puffins, including razorbills, guillemots; who make their home in the cliffs & headlands which border the island. These contrast with the more sheltered inlets that border the island, which is home to seals & other mammal populations. You will have extensive opportunities to witness these additional species within their rugged & unspoilt island home, whilst maintaining the puffins as the focus of photography excursions.

We have taken care to make things as simple for you as possible to ensure you enjoy the trip. Therefore we organise the boat to & from the island, plus breakfast & dinner are provided. This trip gives individuals the chance to experience ‘off the grid’ living; to really escape, relax, & become immersed in this unique & remote environment.

Spaces are limited so book early to avoid disappointment!

Join Johnny Södergård, a member of the NaturesLens guiding team, on a wildlife adventure, heading deep into Finnish forests to photograph the native brown bears which inhabit the region, observing this magnificent animal as it roams freely throughout its remote woodland habitat. The environment offers the perfect backdrop in front of which to capture the bears as they hunt & maintain their territory.

This holiday provides a unique opportunity to capture incredible images of this secretive species within their picturesque natural environment.

Join NaturesLens to capture images of wild Brown Bears, in Finland, during the Wild Brown Bears of Finland photography holiday. This photography holiday is of day duration on a Full Board, Shared basis & costs £1999 per participant.

The majestic brown bear, considered by many as the king of the forest, wanders predatorily across an expanse of unspoilt woodland, which lies along the Finnish/Russian border. This location is one of Europe’s few remaining true wildernesses, allowing native species like the brown bear to thrive without any threat from human activity.

Remaining hidden in comfortable hides with beds & bathroom facilities; disguised within the landscape, you will have the opportunity to photograph the bears within both forest & meadow hides throughout the day, using the changing light conditions to maximise the quality of your images. 26 of the 29 hides you will have at your disposal have been built specifically with the photographer in mind, meaning that their structure & interior is perfectly suited to provide an enjoyable & comfortable photography experience, while giving you the best access to views of the landscape from which to take photographs.

Being eye level with these magnificent predators lets you immerse yourself in the action, observing the bears’ behaviour using both telephoto & wide-angle lenses, capturing perfect close-up images with the bears remaining none the wiser. You may also encounter other native species, such as the wolverine.

We have chosen to hold the trip at this time of year so that your photography will benefit from long hours of light, allowing daylight to light your images for as long as possible. This season is the one during which the bears are most active, making it the optimum time to capture the bears at their best, obtaining the most diverse range of photographs. The mysterious forested landscape provides the perfect backdrop for achieving editorial quality images. Johnny will assist you in making the most of the lighting & the environment when needed to ensure that you can make the most of the photographic opportunities.

Join NaturesLens for an exciting photography excursion into the wilderness of Finland, capturing beautiful images of the impressive brown bear as it thrives in its picturesque natural habitat. We can only offer a select few people this opportunity each year, so book early to avoid missing out.

One Of The Younger Brown Bears Found In The Taiga Region Near The Russian Border Photographed During The Wild Brown Bears Of Finland Photography Holiday

Join Johnny Södergård, a member of the NaturesLens guiding team, for nights in Finland, photographing the majestic European brown bear.

Benefit from the long hours of daylight to capture stunning images of this magnificent predator in swamp, meadow & forest habitats.

Join NaturesLens to capture images of top level predator & their cubs, in Finland, during the Majestic Brown Bears & Cubs of Finland photography holiday. This photography holiday is of day duration on a Full Board, Shared basis & costs £1999 per participant.

Join Johnny Södergård, on a wildlife adventure, heading deep into the Finnish forests to photograph the native brown bears & their adorable cubs. The remote woodland habitat offers the perfect backdrop in which to capture these majestic predators & their offspring as they play, hunt & maintain their territory.

Unlike some operators who visit just one location, you will have the unique opportunity of visiting two of the best locations in Finland to capture incredible images of this secretive species with opportunities to also photograph wolverine &, if you are lucky, the wolf. What’s more, you will also be photographing from the professional hides which take just two photographers instead of the regular hides which take 9 or 12 photographers.

The majestic brown bear, considered by many as the king of the forest, wanders across an expanse of unspoilt woodland, which lies along the Finnish/Russian border. This area, the Taiga, is one of Europe’s few remaining true wildernesses, allowing native species like the brown bear to thrive without any threat from human activity. They are solitary creatures, coming together only when they mate. The female will keep the cubs with her for 2 to 3 years until they are independent before sending them on their way.

You will spend three nights in the Viiksimo region to capture images of Finland’s large carnivores – brown bear, wolverine & wolves; before moving on to the Suomussalmi region for a further three nights to photograph adorable bear cubs.

The hides at your disposal have been built specifically with photographers in mind to give you the best access to views of the landscape from which to take photographs. The hides are equipped with beds & toilet facilities to make your sessions as comfortable as possible.

We have chosen to run this trip to coincide with the natural phenomenon known as the midnight sun in Finland so that your photography will benefit from long hours of light, allowing daylight to light your images for as long as possible. This season is the one during which the bears are most active, making it the optimum time to capture the bears at their best, obtaining the most diverse range of images. The mysterious forested landscape provides the perfect backdrop for achieving stunning images to add to your portfolio. Johnny will be on hand to provide you with assistance & maximise the opportunities provided by the light & environment.

Join NaturesLens for an exciting photography excursion into the Finnish wilderness, capturing beautiful images of the impressive brown bear & their cubs as they thrive in their picturesque natural habitat. Places are limited, so book early to avoid missing out.

Special Notes

You will be shooting in low light conditions & overnight.

Use of pro-photography hides  – The hides that we make use of during the trips only take a couple of people maximum, there are a number of these hides throughout the forest & we rotate the holiday participants through the hides – this means that the variety of photos is quite wide without everyone getting the same images or being packed into one of the larger hides at other centres.

Camera familiarity  – Talking in the hides must be kept to a minimum to not disturb the bears. Therefore you must be familiar with your camera & what settings to use in low light conditions.Johnny will be available to provide help & advice in the afternoons before dinner, ahead of your hide session.

Additionally, you will have at least two hide sessions devoted to the photography of the lesser kestrel colony, from conceivably the best duo of lesser kestrel hides that we have ever seen!

One morning will see you undertake a photography session dedicated to the goshawk, assuming that the species remains present on the estate, & a during the afternoon a further session devoted to photography of the harriers, buzzards & kites.

Two sessions will be devoted to photography from floating hides, these sessions are a lot of fun & allow for unique photos of birds on the water to be captured, however, should this not be for you, we will adjust your itinerary so that this activity is replaced with a different, but equally exciting, hide experience.

In addition, there are hides for little owl, for wading birds where the hides are sunken into the ground, hides for endemic birds at a drinking pool, hides amongst reed beds for bearded reedlings, reed buntings & more – you will be able to make use of all of these during your night Spanish birds photography holiday.

Example Of The Type Of Image That You May Have Opportunities To Capture During The NaturesLens Atlantic Puffins Of Shetland Photography Holiday

Southern Alaska boasts some of the most beautiful & dramatic scenery to be found in all of North America. This fabulous location is home to a diverse range of wildlife species, in the air, on the land & in the water, all these species thrive in the harsh, dramatic climate & the varied habitat that Alaska offers – this is the amazing setting for our Glaciers, Whales, Eagles & Bears of Alaska Photography Holiday.

Join NaturesLens on an amazing photography experience, based in the heart of Alaska’s mountainous south. This photography tour includes a week packed with photographic opportunities in the area surrounding Juneau, southern Alaska. You will have the opportunity to capture images of the impressive bald eagle as it feeds at a creek that sees these impressive raptors grabbing salmon from the water, to photograph bears as they fish for salmon, spend time capturing images of humpback whales &, hopefully, orca during 3 days on our exclusively charted boat that takes us far out into the channels that surround Juneau &, finally, spend time travelling to the glaciers & fjords that have carved the mountainous landscape.

Join NaturesLens to capture images of amazing wildlife of Southern Alaska, in United States, during the Glaciers, Whales, Eagles & Bears of Alaska photography holiday. This photography holiday is of day duration on a Half Board, Non-Shared basis & costs £4499 per participant.

The wildlife, paired with dramatic snow-tipped mountains, salmon-filled creeks, glacier-fed water channels & more, ensures that there is no other setting & subject pairing for photography quite like this. Throughout the trip, you will have abundant opportunities to capture both “in the environment” & frame-filling images of bald eagle, black bear, brown bear, harbour seal, humpback whale, orca, sea lion.

You will spend 2 days cruising down the Tracy Arm Fjord to see Alaska’s greatest combination of mountains, waterfalls, wildlife, glaciers & icebergs. The ice in Tracy Arm interferes with the sonar of whales, so it is the perfect place for hundreds of harbour seals to have their pups in the summer months.

The face of Sawyer Glacier is a little over half a mile wide & is an active tidewater glacier, which means it “calves” or breaks off. Pieces of ice ranging from the size of a small car to a cruise ship can fall off the face of the glacier, hitting the water with a thunderous roar.

The water at the end of the fjord is nearly 600 feet deep & when an underwater calving takes place, the ice remains intact, creating Alaska’s largest icebergs. In other glacier areas, the calved ice generally crumbles but not here. Underwater calvings surface like giant submarines that rise over 250 feet & then settle into the water like large, blue ships! The icebergs are framed by sheer mountain peaks that reach over 7,000 feet.

You will also spend 3 days humpback whale watching in seas bordered by towering mountains with hanging glaciers as your backdrop. If you are lucky, you may also see sea lions, eagles & seals. Our exclusive chartered boat is skippered by the best captain in the Juneau area for whale watching. He will be in touch with all the other boats, so you have the most up to date locations of where the action is happening. With just 6 of us on the boat, there will be plenty of room to move around.

Pack Creek is the best place in Southern Alaska to see bears, during one day of the week, you will spend 5-6 hours exploring a half mile of beach & a meadow where Pack Creek emerges from the mountains & forest to meet the sea, photographing the bears as they hunt, fish & play. This day will start with a scenic flight by float plane to what is considered to be some of the most prime bear country on earth where dozens of salmon streams help maintain over 1,500 Alaskan brown bears.

The schedule for this trip has been designed to allow you to make the most of the photography opportunities available in the area. You will return with images of the bluest glaciers & the wildlife that lives on & adjacent to these towers of ice. Images of humpback whales &, hopefully, the transient orcas that feast on fish in the area; photographs of the bald eagles as they pounce on the salmon that swim in the cold waters of their creek & of course the bears as they attempt to fish for salmon in Pack Creek.

This is a photography holiday designed & led by photographers for photographers to ensure that every element of the experience enables you to achieve photographs that you will be proud to add to your portfolio.

Spaces are limited, so be sure to book early to avoid disappointment!

Orcas Playing In The Sea Photographed During A NaturesLens Wildlife Of Alaska Photography Holiday

The African bushveld is a territory famed for its diverse range of wildlife, & the outstanding safari experience it can provide for wildlife photography enthusiasts. Join David on an African wildlife experience, delving deep into sub-tropical bushland; photographing incredible native species from both jeep & specially designed hides which are embedded within the landscape.

This is a trip you’ll never forget, & will have you leaving with both stunning images & memories which you will treasure for a lifetime.

Join NaturesLens to capture images of varied African wildlife, in South Africa, during the South Africa’s Wildlife of Zimanga photography holiday. This photography holiday is of day duration on a Full Board, Shared basis & costs £4399  £3999 per participant.

This tour is the perfect blend of traditional safari game drives coupled with some extraordinary hide sessions. There was something for everyone from majestic mammals to stunning raptors & colourful little birds.

These hides have been created with the photographer in mind, providing the optimum structure & positioning throughout the reserve. Manfrotto tripods & Benro gimbal heads are provided in all the hides so no need to pack your tripod.

Cape Buffalo Drinking At Water Hole At Night Photographed During The African Wildlife Of Zimanga Phtography Tour Run By NaturesLens

One way glass means you will be invisible to the animals, enabling you to photograph their entirely natural behaviour within the park. You will also benefit from the solar-powered air conditioning & comfortable interiors within the hides; included to make your wildlife experience as pleasant & enjoyable as possible.

The scavenger hide is regularly visited by vultures, tawny eagles, bateleurs & other species like jackal & hyena. All the perches are set at exactly the same focal distance from the hide so no change of lens is required unless you are after a tight portrait shot.

A final pair of hides is provided for overnight use which you will use one of each on two nights, providing you with a completely different experience of the reserve, observing a variety of species as they carry out their night time activities. The overnight hides are furnished with a kitchenette, flushing toilet, beds & wi-fi to ensure maximum comfort while gaining unrivalled exposure to the wildlife & their behaviours at night.

Accommodation & internal transport is included within the price of the trip & David will provide photography tuition as needed.

This is a trip you will never forget. Book now to avoid disappointment!

A Lion Cub Resting In A Tree Photographed During The NaturesLens African Wildlife Of Zimanga Photography Holiday

Galloping en-masse towards you through deltas at sunset, droplets kicked up by dozens of hooves, suspended for a fraction of a second against a golden sky, the spectacle of the wild white horses of the Camargue is a stunning reminder of the raw beauty of Mother Nature & an unforgettable image waiting to be taken.

Witness the raw power & elegance of the wild white horses of the Camargue on this wildlife photography holiday with Serge of NaturesLens. Group size is strictly limited so book your place now to avoid disappointment.

Join NaturesLens to capture images of magnificent white horses & black stallions, in France, during the Wild White Horses of the Camargue photography holiday. This photography holiday is of day duration on a Bed & Breakfast only, Non-Shared basis & costs £2199 per participant.

Join NaturesLens guide, Serge & Camargue Specialist Photographer, Serge Krouglikoff, to witness the raw power & natural elegance of the stallions & horses of the Camargue. Over the course of 5 days, we will have 7 photography sessions with these stunning horses & their Gardians, the men on horseback who watch over the wild horses who have inhabited the wetlands for generations.

The sessions will take place early morning & early evening to take advantage of sunrise & sunset. Our location is situated in the Camargue itself where we have exclusive access to private land where no other tour company or public have access to. Pui Hang & Serge will be on hand to provide advice where required.

You will photograph the iconic white horses, alone & in groups, as they posture, trot & gallop through the marshes, surf & lakes, their grace & elegance reflected back through the surface of the water.

With several drives per shoot, you will have ample opportunity to capture images from a range of perspectives, including horses running towards the lens & across your field of view.

2 separate sessions with a single stallion (one white & one black) on the beach takes place in the afternoon, allowing for dramatic action shots as the beautiful animal gallops through the surf and along the shoreline.

Capture images of magnificent stallions intertwined at full height, showcasing their feisty, fiery temperament.

Our trip also includes a unique opportunity to add something rather special & unusual to your portfolio. An afternoon session of portrait photography of both the white stallion & a black stallion, against a clean, moody backdrop, using both lighting & natural daylight, making for dramatic close-up shots.

There will be time in between the horse photography sessions to explore the walled city which will be our base for the duration of this holiday & capture images of the vibrant pink waters of the salt marshes.

Accommodation is a 3-star hotel on a bed & breakfast basis. In trip transportation is also included in the cost. International flights, lunch, dinner, drinks & items of a personal nature are excluded.

You are welcomed to join NaturesLens guides, David & Ian, on a photography adventure consisting of several days of Grey Seals photography on the harsh coastline of a German Island in the North Sea, home to an impressive population of Atlantic grey seals & harbour seals. Both David & Ian will guide you throughout, aiding you in capturing stunning images of these impressive animals, while respecting their fragile natural environment.

Wildlife photography of any seal population has been a controversial issue in recent years, & therefore ethical & respectful photography practices are necessary to ensure that the seals & the environment do not come to any harm. NaturesLens have created this photography holiday with issues of sustainability & animal welfare in mind by devising a schedule which allows wildlife enthusiasts to experience the seals first-hand & capture striking photographs, all the while being mindful of their welfare & what precautions are necessary to preserve their natural habitat.

Join NaturesLens to capture images of the grey seals colony at Düne Island, in Germany, during the Helgoland’s Grey Seals photography holiday. This photography holiday is of day duration on a Half Board, Non-Shared basis & costs £1499 per participant.

NaturesLens invites wildlife photographers on a night long adventure to the harsh coastline of Düne & Helgoland, a pair of small islands in the North Sea, capturing images of the impressive seal population within this bleak weather-beaten landscape.

Each day, you will travel to the Düne beaches by ferry, where you will be able to photograph seals from up close, with guaranteed sightings & great shots. At all times, David & Ian will guide you during the photography activities & will be heedful of the seals, preventing any disturbance of the animals by keeping at a safe interval from both adults & pups, while using longer lenses to capture the best possible images.

The cost of this photography tour is £1499 per participant per participant which includes return transport between Hamburg Airport & Cuxhaven, ferry costs to reach Helgoland from Cuxhaven, luggage costs on the ferry, five nights accommodation, the first in Cuxhaven, then on Helgoland itself on a dinner, bed & breakfast basis, & a final night in Hamburg; four crossings to Düne from Helgoland. NaturesLens offer keen wildlife photographers the chance to capture images of the impressive Dalmatian Pelican, you will be photographing the population of this species as they thrive in their picturesque natural habitat; Lake Kerkini in northern Greece.

We have designed an all-encompassing photography experience, ensuring that internal travel & comfortable accommodation are organised for you to ensure that you can focus on making the most of opportunities to capture editorial quality images. Our trips fill up quickly so ensure that you book early to avoid missing out!

Join NaturesLens to capture images of the charismatic Dalmatian Pelicans on Lake Kerkini, in Greece, during the Dalmatian Pelicans of Greece photography holiday. This photography holiday is of day duration on a Full Board, Non-Shared basis & costs £1299 per participant.

For the past 5 years, NaturesLens has been taking photographers to Lake Kerkini; in 2019, join Annette, a member of the NaturesLens guiding team, for a unique wildlife experience, getting up close & personal with the beautiful prehistoric bird that is the Dalmatian Pelican; capturing them on camera within their natural habitat of beautiful Lake Kerkini in northern Greece. This trip encompasses four full days spent getting to know this unique landscape, offering extensive opportunities to photograph these incredible birds, as well as neighbouring wildlife such as the Pygmy Cormorant & the majestic Greater Flamingo.

The Dalmatian Pelican is, by a small margin, the largest of the Pelican species, as well as one of the largest living bird species on earth. These magnificent birds have been in decline in recent years, partly due to habitat destruction on the part of us humans, but thankfully the population at Kerkini has prevailed & still thrives within this perfect haven.

This trip is best suited to those of you with mid-level to advanced photography skills looking for a new challenge. We pride ourselves in offering something special to clients in comparison to other trip providers, so we have coordinated this itinerary to allow you to capture these magnificent birds at sunrise & sunset.

Highlights of the trip include four boat trips on to the lake on consecutive days, four shoreline feeds offering you the chance to get up close to these magnificent birds & witness their feeding behaviours, & cosy accommodation in a nearby hotel as an oasis from the harsh winter conditions. All the details are taken care of for you so that you can relax & enjoy this unique wildlife photography adventure.

You will be on the lake before the sun comes up to see the Pelicans at first light, & after the morning’s activities, will break for a warming lunch as a much-needed break from the cold, discussing what the rest of the day will hold. As a group you will then embark on an afternoon of further exciting photography opportunities, remaining on the shoreline of the lake through to early evening to make the most of the changing light conditions. When the day comes to an end, you will return to the comfort of the hotel to relax in front of a roaring fire, freshen up & discuss your achievements from the day.

Annette, one of our photography guides, will lead you throughout this photography tour, providing guidance & advice as needed & helping you develop your skills. They will help you shoot these birds in wide & close up shots; capturing them in movement while feeding & fighting for fish, interacting with each other or in flight with the impressive backdrop provided by the lake & surrounding snow-capped mountains.

Our group numbers are strictly limited to allow for the highest quality experience for everyone involved, & as this photography is seasonal, we can only offer this trip to a small number of lucky individuals each year. Book early to avoid disappointment!

Highlights of the trip include four boat trips on to the lake on consecutive days, four shoreline feeds offering you the chance to get up close to the Dalmatian Pelicans & witness their feeding behaviours, & cosy accommodation in a nearby hotel as an oasis from the harsh winter conditions.

Annette will help you capture images of the Dalmatian Pelicans in both wide & close up shots; capturing them in movement while feeding & fighting for fish, interacting with each other or in flight with the impressive backdrop provided by the lake & surrounding snow-capped mountains.

Our group numbers are strictly limited to allow for the highest quality experience for everyone involved, & as this photography is seasonal, we can only offer this trip to a small number of lucky individuals each year. Book early to avoid disappointment!

A Dalmatian Pelican Drifts Serenely Across The Waters Of Lake Kerkini Photographed During The NaturesLens Dalmatian Pelicans Of Greece WIldlife Photograhpy Holiday

Visualise yourself visiting a location on a frozen pasture on the Nemunas Delta, accompanied by Alan Hewitt & Boris Belchev, with both singular birds & groups of 14-16 White-tailed Sea Eagles gathering in front of the photography hide in which you are sited. Your photographic opportunities are both abundant & presented directly in front of you; that is the nature of this White-tailed Sea Eagles of Lithuania Photography Holiday: seeing congregations of eagles is undoubtedly one of the highlights of the natural world.

The White-tailed Sea Eagles are not too wary of the hides, & due to the quantities that are attracted by the additional food that is placed out for them, they feel secure & will spend time in front of the hides, feeding, fighting, posing & more. The eagles vary in maturity & consequently behaviour, with the range from juvenile, through sub adult, to the awe-inspiring adult birds.

Join NaturesLens to capture images of the fabulous White-tailed Sea Eagles, in Lithuania, during the White-tailed Sea Eagles of Lithuania photography holiday. This photography holiday is of day duration on a Full Board, Non-Shared basis & costs £1199  £1049 per participant.

The Nemunas Delta has a good breeding population of approximately 50 pairs of White-tailed Sea Eagles, &, generally, there are plenty of birds to photograph. With these eagles, you can expect exciting activity & action photography of this massive raptor; any gathering of eagles in these quantities invariably leads to fights over the additional food set out for them. If we are lucky enough to get snow for our visit, then the fighting can reach frenzied levels & leads to incredible photographic opportunities.

Each day, Alan & Boris (our local guide) will get you settled into the hide, light the gas heaters to warm the group, & will then provide any assistance you need to prepare for the day ahead. We would stress that from this point onwards, nobody is allowed to leave the hide under any circumstances until after dark for the reason noted above. It is anticipated that in total the group will spend approx 11-12 hours each day in the hide.

Cameras & lenses are moved into position & set up under cover of darkness, we then play a waiting game & get comfortable, anticipating the arrival of the eagles.

Previous years sessions conducted by our local guide have shown the general pattern of the day to be the White-tailed Sea Eagles visiting at first light, followed by several frantic hours of action before these birds depart mid-morning – on several days, however, the Eagles stayed virtually all day. In the absence of the White-tailed Sea Eagles, foxes & many other birds are present & provide photographic opportunities; these include raven, hooded crow, magpies, common gull, caspian gull, herring gull, greater black-backed gull & both grey heron & great white egret. Mid-afternoon generally sees the return of the White-tailed Sea Eagles for further feeding; again the action can be spectacular.

One of the White-tailed Sea Eagles soars aboves the pastures of the Nemunas Delta - photographed at the hides & locations used for the NaturesLens White-tailed Sea Eagles of Lithuania Photography Holiday

It should be noted that the White-tailed Sea Eagles activity is very dependent on the weather, the harsher the weather, the better the action is likely to be. Extreme weather is unlikely to be a problem in the heart of Nemunas delta in winter though unless we are incredibly unlucky.

As the sun sets & darkness falls, we are collected from the hide & driven back to our lodgings where an evening meal will be served.

Photographable Species: caspian gull, common gull, great white egret, greater blackbacked gull, grey heron, herring gull, hooded crow, magpies, raven, red fox, white-tailed sea eagle

NaturesLens invites you to spend this day tour travelling throughout the wonderfully diverse landscapes of Japan, specifically Central Honshu & Northern Hokkaido, getting up close to a wide range of native species which thrive in harsh winter conditions. Our Japanese Winter Wildlife photography holiday, which we have been leading for the last 6 years, covers a variety of areas, providing you with unique opportunities to undertake wildlife photography of the highest quality.

Guided by David & Ian, you will visit Central Honshu & Northern Hokkaido & gain an insight into the variety of landscapes & wildlife which exists throughout the country, made even more photogenic by dramatic winter conditions. The photographic opportunities on our Japanese Winter Wildlife photography tour are always without parallel – with opportunities to photograph the red-crowned cranes, Steller’s sea eagles, white-tailed sea eagle, whooper swans, & of course, the Snow Monkeys, during this photography holiday.

Join NaturesLens to capture images of varied winter wildlife, in Japan, during the Winter Wildlife of Japan photography holiday. This photography holiday is of day duration on a Half Board, Non-Shared basis & costs £5749  £5499 per participant.

With a new updated & extended Itinerary for 2020

After 5 years of successfully running our tour to capture images of the snow monkeys, the red-crowned cranes, the Steller’s & white-tailed sea eagle on pack ice & the whooper swans on their frozen lake, we have decided to amend our itinerary, we are taking nothing away, we are adding extra days to the photography holiday. Several new days follow on from the second day with the snow monkeys of Jigokudani Yaen Koen, we will travel to Matsumoto, to view & capture images of Matsumoto Castle. Matsumoto Castle is one of five castles designated as ‘National Treasures of Japan’ & the oldest castle donjon remaining in Japan.

Our second new location, & now the last stop on our Japanese Winter Wildlife photography holiday is Lake Yamanaka; Lake Yamanaka is located in the village of Yamanakako in Yamanashi Prefecture near Mount Fuji, Japan. Lake Yamanaka is the largest of the Fuji Five Lakes in terms of surface area, & is the highest of the Fuji Five Lakes in terms of elevation. Due to its high altitude & its relatively shallow water depth, Lake Yamanaka often freezes completely in the winter.

The view of Mt. Fuji across Lake Yamanaka is breathtaking with the mountain forming its distinctive shape – all making for an iconic image. From mid-October to February, a beautiful phenomenon called Diamond Fuji occurs when the rising or setting sun aligns with the peak of Mt. Fuji, causing Mt. Fuji to shine bright like a diamond, hence its name. Winter is actually the best season to see Mt. Fuji from this location as the weather conditions are more stable & the mountain is covered with snow.

Join David & Ian to travel deep into stunning snow-covered landscapes, capturing beautiful images of wildlife which thrives during harsher seasons in Japan. Our group will travel throughout several different regions, including the mountainous area around Yudanaka in central Japan, & north of the mainland to the island of Hokkaido, giving you an insight into the variety of landscapes & wildlife which exists throughout the country, made even more photogenic by dramatic winter conditions.

A Pair Of Sika Deer On One Of The Penninsulas Photographed During The Winter Wildlife Of Japan Photography Holiday

Our trip offers enthusiastic wildlife photographers the opportunity to rise early for two dawn visits to the famous red-crowned crane roosting sites of the Tsurui region of Hokkaido; spend two days at the Akan red-crowned crane feeding centre; & spend two days observing the beautiful whooper swans which inhabit Lake Kussharo, a frozen caldera lake in the eastern region of Hokkaido.

Not only this, but our trip is unique in offering six boat trips on the drift ice of the Nemuro Strait to photograph Hokkaido’s fabulous Steller’s sea & white-tailed eagle populations as they fly, feed, dive for fish & fight over scraps. These excursions will give you unique access to the native wildlife at each location, providing ample opportunity to obtain incredible images.

Our tour begins in Tokyo; from there we immediately transfer to Hokkaido, the most northerly island of Japan, which holds the most remote & only true wilderness in Japan. North of the island, the Shiretoko Peninsula is recognised for its world heritage site status, as the landscapes of dramatic coastline & soaring mountains are stunning, giving you the perfect backdrop to achieve editorial quality images of the wildlife inhabitants. As we travel across the island, you will have the opportunity to photograph a vast selection of Japanese Winter Wildlife, including red-crowned cranes, black-eared kites, whooper swans as well as white-tailed & Steller’s sea eagles as we cruise through drift ice environments which surround the island & across additional feeding sites on the Nemuro Peninsula to the east of the island.

A Trio Of Japanese Cranes In The Mist Rising Off The River At Their Roosting Site Photographed During The Winter Wildlife Of Japan Photography Holiday

We will then move onward to Yudanaka & spend two days at the Jigokudani snow monkey site with the Japanese Macaque, also known as the Snow Monkey, in the mountains, at their thermal spa, as they bathe & feed in the area. We give you the second day here so that you have the chance to fine-tune your photography having become more familiar with the environment & the behaviour of this species. After spending the morning with the snow monkeys of Jigokudani Yaen Koen, we will travel to Matsumoto, to view & capture images of Matsumoto Castle. Our final location is on the shores of  Lake Yamanaka; the view of Mt. Fuji from the lake is breathtaking & has a distinctive shape – making for an iconic image to complete your Japanese Winter Wildlife photography holiday.

Japan is an extraordinary country, & our Japanese Winter Wildlife photography holiday provides wildlife photographers with unrivalled opportunities to capture uniquely beautiful photographs.

Flying In Beautiful Light, One Of The Golden Eagles Takes To The Air Image Captured During The NaturesLens Golden Eagles Of The Swedish Winter Photography Holiday

NaturesLens invites you to join Pui Hang & take the opportunity to journey into the heart of India, in the pursuit of capturing the elusive Indian tiger on camera as it thrives within a protected national park. Open to both amateur & semi-professional wildlife photographers, our trip has been designed to offer guests unrivalled opportunities to photograph these amazing big cats within the national park, whilst also looking out for other native species such as the Indian gaur & langur monkeys.

Refined, using personal experience gained through visits to the reserve, over the past 7 years, our trip includes full board accommodation, jeep fees, park fees & airport transfers to make things as straightforward for you as possible, to ensure that you can make the most of this fantastic wildlife photography experience.

Join NaturesLens to capture images of rich jungle dwelling wildlife, in India, during the Majestic Tigers of India photography holiday. This photography holiday is of day duration on a Full Board, Non-Shared basis & costs £3399 per participant.

The majestic Indian tiger, a creature so magnificent & elusive, which has been suffering as a result of illegal poaching to the point of becoming an endangered species. NaturesLens invites you to experience these beautiful creatures first hand within a beautiful & mysterious Indian parkland, in a reserve famed for having the highest density of Tigers in India. The landscape offers dense jungle environments & open grassland intertwined with narrow tracks that you will navigate whilst capturing stunning images. You will encounter a range of other native species on the trip, such as leopards, Indian gaurs, langur monkeys & sloth bears as well as an array of beautifully colourful birds.

The park is located in a region of India steeped in complex history, with evidence of the political past of the area lying in ruins & monuments within the park. If you want to maximise your photographic opportunities, we can arrange a full day’s safari in private jeeps. Unlike the public, who are restricted to 3hr sessions in the park in the morning & afternoon, you will benefit from earlier entry & later exit, & an entire day within the park without having to leave, to ensure that you are able to make the most of tiger spotting opportunities at times when the park is quietest.

Many wildlife photography tours in these environments cram 3 or more people into one jeep, forcing individuals to lean over each other to take photographs, therefore compromising the quality of the images & the experience for individuals. However, we have ensured that only 2 guests travel in each jeep, giving you maximum freedom of movement to capture images from the optimum angle, as you experience the wonders of the park over the course of the day. Photography tuition will be provided as needed by Pui Hang, a NaturesLens leader, with knowledgeable wildlife guidance provided by a local expert.

Our guests are also housed in exquisite accommodation on a full board basis, providing you with comfort & excellent hospitality when you return from the game drives to relax, unwind, & look over your images. We have designed this tour to maximise time in the park spent spotting & capturing editorial quality photographs of tigers, whilst minimising travel time. With this in mind, airport transfers, jeep fees & park fees are also included in the cost of the tour, making things simple for you so that you can focus on making the most of your wildlife photography experience.

During these months, the parks have dried out. Temperatures will likely be above 30℃, & nudging towards 40℃. Meadows previously covered with lush grass have died back to expose landscapes covered in thick dusk, where water is scarce. Whilst it is tough, in our opinion, this is the best time of year time to visit, less foliage means the wildlife is more exposed, & little water allows our wonderful local guides & driver to predict tiger behaviour as they seek water out from the few remaining water sources in the reserve. For many, the landscapes don’t feel as picturesque, & drives can be uncomfortably hot.

A Tiger Rests Amongst The Fallen Leaves Photographed During The NaturesLens Tigers Of Bandhavgarh Photography Holiday

The Gir National Forest is the last stronghold of the Indias’s Asiatic Lions. Smaller than their African cousins but no less majestic, these stunning big cats live alongside humans in their last remaining natural habitat. The NaturesLens Indias’s Asiatic Lions of Gir tour marks a significant & exceptional addition to any photography portfolio, with days spent in the heart of the forest, waiting for a chance to capture on camera this most majestic, graceful & captivating of predators.

The people of Gujarat are proud & fiercely protective of their lions, in fact, the current Indian prime minister has declared the Asiatic Lions to be “the pride of Gujarat”.

Join NaturesLens to capture images of Asiatic Lions of Gir, in India, during the India’s Asiatic Lions of Gir photography holiday. This photography holiday is of day duration on a Full Board, Non-Shared basis & costs £3399 per participant.

The Asiatic Lions of Gir hold a territory that is somewhat larger than that of tigers but, with the help of local trackers, guides & drivers, you will have the opportunity to expand your portfolio with some fantastic images of these majestic cats.

For an unforgettable photography experience, this night trip to Gujarat, India, ticks every box. You will witness some of the cat world’s most majestic & fearsome predators as they go about their daily lives, hunting, resting & raising their young. Apart from the Asiatic Lions, Gir is also famous for the large number of leopards which are also a major attraction & which, given the elusive nature of leopards, are highly visible.

We have created a package which includes full board accommodation, jeep fees, park fees & airport transfers to make things as straightforward for you as possible, to ensure that you can make the most of this unique wildlife photography experience.

You will stay in a beautiful lodge, surrounded by mango trees & stunning birds, located just a short drive from the park entrance.

Each morning, you will enter the forest just before dawn for your morning safari. The forest is interspersed with semi-evergreen & evergreen flora, acacia, scrub jungle, grassland & rocky hills. Fed by perennial & seasonal rivers & streams, the Gir National Park has large water bodies like the Kamleshwar Dam that are good for spotting marsh crocodiles, reptiles & birds.

Other predators include hyena, jackal & jungle cat. These are supported by a healthy prey-base composed of Samba & Chital deer, Chinkara gazelle, Four-horned & Blue Bull antelope, Wild boar & langur monkeys.

At the end of the morning safari, you will return to your lodge to freshen up before sitting down to a breakfast fit for kings. And yes, there will be mangoes!

After a delicious lunch, you will return to the park for your afternoon game drive.

We have ensured that only 2 guests travel in each jeep, giving you maximum freedom of movement to capture images from the optimum angle, & space as you experience the wonders of the forest over the course of the day. Your guide, Pui Hang Miles, will be on hand to provide advice & tuition as needed, with knowledgeable wildlife guidance provided by a local expert.

Airport transfers, in trip accommodation on a full board basis, jeep fees & park fees are also included in the cost of this Asiatic Lions of Gir photography tour, making things simple for you so that you can focus on making the most of your wildlife photography experience.

Don’t miss out on this opportunity to come face to face with the majestic Asiatic lion by booking early.

A Yellow Bellied Toad One Of The Species That May Be Photographed During The NaturesLens Reptiles & Amphibians Of Bulgaria Photography Holiday

Join NaturesLens for a wildlife photography holiday you will never forget.

Places are limited, so book today!

The South African bushveld is a territory famed for its diverse range of wildlife, & the outstanding safari experience it can provide for wildlife photography enthusiasts. Join NaturesLens photography leaders on an African wildlife experience, delving deep into sub-tropical bushland; photographing incredible native species from both jeep & specially designed hides which are embedded within the landscape.

This is a trip you’ll never forget, & will have you leaving with both stunning images & memories which you will treasure for a lifetime.

Join NaturesLens to capture images of varied African wildlife, in South Africa, during the South African Wildlife of Zimanga photography holiday. This photography holiday is of day duration on a Full Board, Non-Shared basis & costs £4499 per participant.

The photography safaris & hide sessions all take place within a pristinely preserved wildlife reserve, which provides the animals with a protected habitat while allowing photographers to come & observe these animals thrive, & capture awe-inspiring images.

This wildlife reserve offers 6000 hectares of unspoilt sub-tropical bushveld, fever tree forests & hilly terrain, providing you with opportunities to capture the best images of birds & wildlife alike from every possible angle. The reserve has a huge diversity of South Africanwildlife including mammals such as black-backed jackal, buffalo, cheetah, elephant, giraffe, hippo, impala, kudu, leopard, lion, nyala, rhino, spotted hyena, waterbuck, wild dog, wildebeest & zebra; & birds such as babbler, barbet, bee-eater, firefinch, fish eagle, hamerkop, kingfisher, lemon breasted canary, mousebird, plover, Rudd’s Apalis, sandpiper, twinspot, vulture & waxbill. The animals live side by side in an almost self-contained ecosystem, with both predators & prey relying on this environment to survive. This is the first reserve of its kind; one which has been specifically designed for photographers, while allowing the animals to live as naturally as they would in the wild with some added protection.

Our trip offers you five traditional game viewing drives from open safari vehicles, with no more than two photographers per row to ensure maximum comfort & access to the best angles for photography. These are not limited to tracks so that off-roading will give you maximum photography opportunities. You will also have at your disposal a range of water-level hides, which are perfectly positioned to capture images of the animals at eye-level. These hides have been created with the photographer in mind, providing the optimum structure & positioning throughout the park.

One way glass means you will be invisible to the animals, enabling you to photograph their entirely natural behaviour within the reserve. You will also benefit from the solar-powered air conditioning & comfortable interiors within the hides; included to make your wildlife experience as comfortable & enjoyable as possible.

Two birdbath hides in the heart of the reserve offer you the opportunity to photograph the wide variety of bird species which inhabit the region, including the pink-throated twinspot, kingfishers, barbets & mousebirds to name a few.

The overnight hides are furnished with a kitchenette, flushing toilet, beds & wi-fi to ensure maximum comfort while gaining unrivalled exposure to the wildlife & their behaviours at night.

Accommodation & internal transport is included within the price of the trip & Pui Hang will provide photography guidance as needed.

A Lone Cape Buffalo Under A Starry Sky As Captured During The NaturesLens African Wildlife Of Zimanga Photography Holiday

One Of The Magnificent Booted Eagles Photographed At The Location Used For The NaturesLens Bonellis, Golden & Imperial Eagles Of Spain Photography Holiday

The target species for this photography tour are the trio of the Eagles of Extremadura, the Imperial Eagle, the Bonelli’s Eagle & the Booted Eagle, but you will have opportunities to capture images of the local Common Kestrels & also the nesting Bee-Eater.
