Field notes

## Photography notes

**Best time**

Early morning & late afternoon during the cool dry season from November to April offer the best light & increased tiger activity near water sources.

**Approach**

Use a telephoto lens of at least 400mm to capture detail whilst maintaining a safe distance from the animal. Position yourself low to the ground when possible to achieve eye-level shots that create a more intimate & compelling composition. Patience is essential - spend extended periods in known tiger territories & remain quiet to increase your chances of capturing natural behaviour.
