Our photography guides go deep on the practical knowledge that separates a visit from a productive session – the gear choices, the timing, the behavioural cues & the techniques that actually produce strong images from specific locations & species. Each guide is written from direct experience by our team, drawing on years of repeated visits to these locations. They are designed to be useful whether you are joining us on a NaturesLens wildlife photography holiday or planning your own trip. ## What Each Guide Covers Every guide goes beyond the surface. You will find specifics on camera settings, lens choices & shooting positions, alongside the kind of behavioural & environmental knowledge that only comes from time in the field. We cover what works, what does not & what most photographers wish they had known before they arrived. This collection will grow as we add guides for more of our key destinations & species. ## Our Photography Guides - [Photographing Puffins on Grímsey Island - A Photographer's Guide to Iceland's Arctic Circle Colony](https://natureslens.co.uk/photography-guide/icelands-puffin-paradise/) Grímsey Island offers unusually close access to Atlantic Puffins, with birds nesting at eye level on grassy slopes & cliff edges.
