Keen wildlife photographers of all experience levels are invited to join Pui Hang for this 7 night Wildlife Photography Hides of Hungary photography holiday in Pusztaszer, Hungary. You will capture images of various species from Bence Máté’s hides on the family farm in Hungary.
The 7 night photography holiday has an itinerary designed for capturing images of the wide variety of wildlife found on the farm & in the areas surrounding the farm.
Over the duration of this trip, the locations should provide opportunities for capturing images of Bee-Eater, Cuckoo, Eurasian Otter, European Roller, Ground Squirrel, Hoopoe, Kingfisher, Little Owl, Long-eared Owl & Otter, Egrets & Herons of various types, & more.
Throughout this photography holiday, Pui Hang, one of our company directors, will be on hand to guide & lead you; she will be providing assistance & advice as needed & helping you develop your skills. Pui Hang will help you capture images of a wide variety of species with the array of hides available to you for capturing photographs from.
Bence Máté’s farm hosts a growing number of different bird photography hides – four drinking station hides, five for capturing images of the European Roller, six dedicated to capturing images of the Hoopoe, two for Bee Eater, one for Kingfisher, two for Ground Squirrel, plus a quartet for varied species including a tower hide, a small shore hide, a cinema hide which lends itself to photographing otters & a larger hide known as the theatre hide.
Bence Máté is an award-winning nature & wildlife photographer, renowned for capturing beautiful & intimate images of the natural world. Born in Budapest, Hungary, he began shooting photos at a young age & quickly recognized his deep passion for photography. In the years since then, Bence has become an internationally respected photographer, with his work appearing in many publications such as National Geographic, BBC Wildlife Magazine & Outdoor Photography.
His mission is to show the beauty of nature, & his unique & powerful images do just that. He has also spoken at numerous events around the world, inspiring & educating photographers & viewers alike with his eye for detail & his appreciation for the wonders of the natural world.

Card reader, long prime lens in the range of 500mm, 600mm or 800mm, medium zoom lens in the range of 70-200mm, mirrorless or DSLR camera body, notebook or laptop, portable hard-disk drive or SSD for storage of your images, short zoom lens in the range of 24-105mm, spare mirrorless or DSLR camera body, telephoto zoom lens in the range of 200-600mm, 100-400mm, 150-500mm or 150-600mm & tripod (essential for use within the hides)
During this wildlife photography holiday, you can expect to capture images of a diverse range of species, the intended species include Bee-eater, cuckoo, eurasian otter, european roller, ground squirrel, hoopoe, kingfisher, little owl, long-eared owl & otter.

NaturesLens photography holidays do not include flights unless it is explicitly stated on the event page. When it is time to book your flights, we will send you the details in plenty of time to allow for bookings at the best available price.
The photography holiday itinerary is subject to change & is to be considered provisional.
NaturesLens photography holidays require a minimum number of participants in order to be viable. If this minimum number is not met, the photography holiday may not go ahead.
In the event that the minimum number for a photography holiday to go ahead is not reached, NaturesLens reserves the right to cancel any given photography holiday. In that event 100% of monies received will be returned. However, NaturesLens is not responsible for expenses incurred by its customers.
Not all mentioned wildlife can be observed & photographed at all times of the year, thus some activities may be considered seasonal & not available.
Please note the cuisine on many of the NaturesLens photography holidays is authentic & typical of the region in which you are travelling. International or western cuisine is often NOT available. If you have any concerns over the food arrangements or have any special dietary requirements, please contact us prior to making a booking.
All personal luggage are the responsibility of the owner & we request that photography holiday participants limit their luggage to the equivalent of one suitcase, one flight bag, one camera bag & tripod. We do not wish to appear dictatorial in this matter & the request is made to ensure space & comfort for everyone in our vehicles.
