NaturesLens visits Lemek Conservancy on small-group wildlife photography holidays in Kenya, with time here planned around African Civet rather than general sightseeing. Current itineraries using Lemek Conservancy include The Mara, Without the Crowds, with photography shaped around night or low-light and landscape and behaviour photography sessions. A private, community-run conservancy of around 17,000 acres in the northern Maasai Mara ecosystem, bordering the main reserve but managed independently to keep visitor numbers low. Lion, leopard, cheetah, elephant & the endangered Maasai giraffe are all found here, with off-road access & night drives giving closer, quieter encounters than the crowded main reserve allows.
