Bat-eared Fox at Great Rift Valley

The Great Rift Valley's savannah grassland and scrubby bushveld, framed by the escarpments and volcanic peaks of this vast tectonic trench, provide the open terrain favoured by the Bat-eared Fox. Photographers joining the Wildlife of Shompole Wilderness holiday in October have the chance to encounter this distinctive species against the backdrop of Kenya's soda lakes and acacia woodland.
