Eurasian Hobby at Macin Mountain National Park

Photographers joining the Birds of the Danube Delta holiday in May have a good chance of encountering Eurasian Hobby around Macin Mountain National Park, where the ancient, weathered peaks of one of Europe's oldest mountain ranges rise close to the Danube River. The park's location in Dobrogea, within reach of the vast Danube Delta wetlands, places it firmly within this species' range across the region.
