How we describe rooming
Where a holiday includes single occupancy, it should be clear from the trip information. Where accommodation is limited or remote & single rooms cannot be guaranteed, that needs to be discussed before booking.
The important point is expectation management: no surprises after deposits are paid, & no vague rooming language hiding a significant supplement.

Are wildlife photography holidays really suitable for solo travellers?
Yes – & travelling alone is genuinely common on NaturesLens trips, not an exception. Our tours, safaris & holidays run in small groups, normally four to six guests, so you are never one anonymous face in a large crowd. Everyone in the group is there for the same reason – the photography – which tends to make conversation & rapport happen naturally, guided rather than forced.
An experienced photographer-guide leads every trip, giving the group a shared focus & structure throughout each day, so you are never left to navigate logistics or decisions alone. Many guests book as individuals precisely because a structured, guided small group removes the usual friction of solo travel while still giving you full control over your own time, pace & photography.
