This is the second set of images captured by Dan of the wild Brown Bears of Finland. You can view the first set here. Most of these images were taken in Suomussalmi, our location for photographing bear cubs.

The bears were quite happy to hang around the hides which meant Dan could take his time & even try for some more creative shots as well as tight portraits.

He also managed to capture some beautiful behaviour shots of the bears climbing trees & swimming! I really think that the rain adds something special to the image of the bear standing up by the tree.

Dan said: “Just wanted to drop you a note to say thank you for an impressive trip to Finland. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it, with a good group of people. It was my first trip with you guys, but I don’t expect it to be my last, & I hope that I get the chance to visit Finland & the bears again in the future.”
Thanks to Dan for sharing his beautiful images with us & we hope to see you again soon!
