Forest birds are small, quick & often in shaded light, so shutter speed & clean backgrounds matter more than reach. Brazil offers outstanding opportunities for wildlife photography, with the chance to photograph species such as Atlantic Royal Flycatcher, Brazilian Ruby, Channel-billed Toucan, Glittering-bellied Emerald, Lineated Woodpecker, Red-Headed Barbet, Swallow-tailed Manakin, Toucan Barbet, Velvet-fronted Euphonia, Yellow-fronted Woodpecker, White-necked Jacobin, Rufous-tailed Hummingbird, Summer Tanager, Horned Screamer, King Vulture, Wood Stork & White Ibis. These highlighted species represent only a small part of the wildlife found across the area, with many more species present depending on habitat, region & seasonal conditions.
