Changing of the Guide for this trip to Alison Jenkins
While David had originally planned to lead this trip, we can confirm that Alison Jenkins – an accomplished wildlife photographer & seasoned Arctic traveller – will be leading this trip.
Alison brings:
- Extensive regional knowledge from multiple photographic expeditions to this specific location
- A proven track record of capturing award-winning Arctic wildlife imagery
- Enthusiastic teaching methods tailored to photographers of all skill levels
Alison has visited this region several times & knows the local species & conditions well.

New Dates Announced – 28th March – 3rd April 2026
We have added a second set of dates. The trip runs 28th March – 3rd April 2026, timed for:
- Atlantic puffins in their striking winter plumage against snow-dusted coastal landscapes
- A rich variety of Arctic ducks such as King Eider, Common Eider, Steller’s Eider, Long-tailed Duck, & more. Other species in the area include Common Murre, Black Guillemot, Thick-billed Murre, Razorbill, & Black-legged Kittiwake.
- You can also expect Arctic Hare, White-tailed Sea Eagle, Siberian Jay, & Reindeer
- Low-angle Arctic light that shifts throughout the day as spring approaches
Group size is limited to 4–6 photographers. Early booking helps with accommodation & flight arrangements.
